EMERGENCY ORDER OF PROTECTION ISSUED AGAINST BEATEN YOUNG WOMAN

CLAY CO.—The woman who claimed she was beaten Saturday night by a grandmother of her stepson has been the subject of an order of protection, filed by the grandmother who is accused of inflicting the beating.

Melody Hagen-Flood, 21, still bearing bruises and swelling from a beating she said she took from Rhonda Sturm when Sturm allegedly stormed her mobile home Saturday, appeared in Clay County court this afternoon after talking to police and being advised to seek an order of protection… and learned that multiple OPs, petitioned by practically the entire Sturm family, it appears, had been issued AGAINST her.

Sturm is the mother of Chassidy Sturm (other last names unknown), who is the mother of the 6-year-old boy who was enjoying visitation with his father, Rylan Flood, his stepmother Melody, and his baby sister, when Rhonda Sturm is alleged to have entered the home and for whatever reason, pummeled Melody Hagen-Flood until she got her away from the little boy, then took off with the boy; ostensibly, this was to take him back to his mother, but the reason for this is unknown at the time. One excuse was that Chassidy had just had a baby with one of the now-increasingly infamous Kittle clan; however, that particular infant is about a week old according to birth announcements, so that wouldn’t apply. Whatever the case, Chassidy Sturm, as well as the Kittle boy (listed as “Hudson” but earlier Disclosure was told his name was “Brandon,” but turns out Brandon is the father of Hudson…) along with Rylan Flood’s mother Deanna, also requested and obtained an order of protection against Melody Flood and her husband, effectively keeping the 6-year-old boy away from his father.

We are still gathering details, and what’s emerging is rather disturbing. Be looking for more in the next print version of Disclosure, or sign up today for the online version, which you’ll receive right here on your own computer.
