RALEIGH—We’re working on collecting information about this fire that apparently broke out at around 3 a.m. this morning at the welding shop of Wallace Manufacturing near Raleigh Redi-Mix on 34 between Harrisburg and Raleigh. Saline County sheriff’s department advised that the road was shut down in the vicinity as late as 7:30 a.m. this morning, as we received calls from motorists traveling in the area indicating this. One motorist advised that she was told there had been a wreck, but we have no information on that. The motorist said that alternate routes between 34 and 45 were also shut down; apparently all traffic is flowing now, however..
