CRAWFORD CO.— A Robinson man has been charged with multiple sex offenses after authorities say he had sexual intercourse with a victim between the ages of 6-13.
Bruce Allen Bridgewater, 36, has been charged with three counts of Sexual Assault and one count of Predatory Sexual Assault of a Child.
According to information filed in the case, on or between April 5, 2001 and April 5, 2008 Bridgewater committed an act of sexual penetration with the victim when he placed his penis in the vagina of the victim.
An order has been signed to have Bridgewater transported from an Indiana jail back to Crawford County to face charges.
Bridgewater is currently behind bars in the Vigo County, Ind. jail on an unknown charge.
Cash bond in the case has been set at $20,000.
Unrelated false report
Unrelated cases this issue begins with Kristi Lynn Tremaine, 35, of 309 East Indiana St., Oblong who has been charged with one count of False Report of a Vehicle Theft after authorities say on October 11 she knowingly made a false report to the Crawford County Sheriff’s department of the theft of a 2004 Chevy.
Ms. Tremaine who claims to be a divorced, mother of three, self employed cosmetologist was released from custody Oct. 15 after a $500 cash bond was posted on her behalf by Barbara Webster of 5330 East 1600 Ave., Robinson.
Tremaine’s felony warrant was signed by secretly-appointed associate judge Kimbara Harrell, whose husband has spent substantial time trying to sell police radios to several counties in which his wife sits on the bench.
DUI drugs charged
Cory Wayne Berry, 18, of 7063 East 2010 Ave., Annapolis, has been charged with a single count of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Drugs after authorities say on Oct. 17, while under the influence of drugs he drove a 2003 Ford on County Road 2000North at 1050 East when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in great bodily harm to Miranda R. Wilson, who suffered severe head laceration and jaw injury.
If convicted Berry could be sentenced anywhere from one to 12 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Berry was released from custody Oct. 30 after a $1,000 cash bond was posted on his behalf by Eric D. Berry of the same Annapolis address.
