UPDATE 6:35 P.M.

Our sources on the ground have advised that a SWAT team has responded to the location in Equality where a possibly armed man has been standing off with authorities on North McDuffy Street.

Those watching the action have advised that it appears the whole standoff might be coming to an end.

We’ll update if we get anything further.

GALLATIN CO.—Our sources on the ground in Equality have stated that an evacuation of a neighborhood around a trailer on North McDuffy Street is underway right now (3 p.m., Thursday, September 26) after shots were fired.

This is all we have been able to confirm with officials; we only otherwise know that the block upon which the trailer sits has been surrounded by police, which include Equality city, Gallatin County, and ISP. An ambulance is standing by. We have the name of the suspect, but are withholding it for right now. Our sources on the ground indicate they’ve been told power has been cut to the trailer where the man resides, in an effort to get him to come out.
