ELDORADO—One of Saline County’s board representatives has died.
It was reported to us at about 8 a.m. that Gary Seibert, of Eldorado, passed away this morning, although we have no further information about it at this time.
Siebert had been injured a few months back by one of the cows he manages on his property locally. County board chairman Carey Harbison, a veterinarian, had been with Siebert, tending to a particular cow, when the cow attacked Siebert and injured him. What extent his injuries were remains unknown at this point, but county board members advise he had not been to the past couple of meetings on account of the injuries.
Seibert was given job as consultant for the school system about two months ago, this following his retirement as superintendent in Eldorado.
