RICHLAND/SALINE COs.—While we all got together to go to the children’s museum in Evansville yesterday, Jack & I had to go separate ways because he had lots to do in the Harrisburg location, and I haven’t been doing too well this past week or so.
So I went home to rest a little bit and hang with the girls, who take good care of me, and Jack had a lot of free time on his hands. Which, for a lot of people these days, amounts to “opportunities to get into trouble,” but not Jack…he bach-es (bachelors) it very well, and is constantly putting forth an extreme effort to impress me.
So he sent me constant updates of things he was doing around the Harrisburg house, improvements, cleanups, etc, all of which made me laugh, and prompted me to post it here for your viewing entertainment.
Here we see Jack putting up hanging hardware so that our new ceramic pans won’t get scratched while sitting on top of each other on the shelf:
He assembled a nice piece of furniture I didn’t need but HAD to have when we were outfitting the Harrisburg house back in June:
That cabinet will probably hold nothing but files; but hey, it’ll then be a tax write-off. And, it’s RED!
Next, he did some laundry, because…sweat. (I don’t think he knows how to operate the thermostat in that house; I turned the A/C up to 81 when we left Thursday, and it really looks like he hasn’t turned it back down. I worry about him sometimes):
Then, after a shower (probably the only time he was cool throughout all of this), he didn’t have anything nice to wear to a meeting with sources, so he got the new steamer assembled and even hung up the back-pad that you’re to steam the clothing up against):
This morning, I was regaled with his culinary expertise:
And as you can see in this next pic, he even added healthy nutrition to the breakfast:
So, now that I know he’s totally self-sufficient, I’ll be taking it a little easier when I get back down to the ‘burg. He’s so proud of himself….let him know he’s doing a good job, now…he took all those pics like a MySpace ace holding that phone out at arm’s length, so he was doing double duty!!
