BENTON—Remember this article from the other day?
Turns out it probably was synthetics, as many were fearing…but what kind, exactly, is unclear.
The Southern Illinoisan had it first—an arrest warrant has been issued, and here it is in part:
Franklin County State’s Attorney Office has issued an arrest warrant for Erin Williams, a clerk at The Smoke Break in Benton.
Williams was charged with four counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance analog within 1,000 feet of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Benton, each a Class 2 felony.
A search warrant for The Smoke Break was also obtained to search the premises based upon an investigation conducted by Benton Police and Illinois State Police.

Was the bust as a result of information the Illinois State Police obtained during a traffic stop outside of Hog Rock Campgrounds during The Gathering of the Juggalos? Maybe.
