RICHLAND CO., Ill. - Richland County Circuit Clerk Alice Mullinax has announced early voting dates for the upcoming April 2 election.
Mullinax said that if you desire to vote early for any or no reason, you may bote in person at the county clerk's office. This temporary polling place is open during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary. However, early voting ENDS on April 1.
Additional hours and locations for early voting are as follows:
Tuesday, March 5: Brookstone Estates, 1110 N. East St., Olney, 4 p.m. tot 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 6: Emerald Glen, 1301 N. East St., Olney, 4 p.m.to 5:30 p.m.
Monday, March 11: Noble Village Hall, 113 E. North Ave., Noble, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 19: Fox River, 1016 Parker St., Olney, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 23: County Clerk's Office, 9 a.m. to noon
Saturday, March 30: County Clerk's Office, 9 a.m. to noon.
If you prefer to vote by mail, please call the county clerk's office at 618-392-3111. They will mail out an application, you return it, then the Clerk's office mails the ballot back to you. The ballot can be returned by mail or carried back to the office. Please call as soon as possible to do this, as time is a factor; the last day to mail out a ballot is Thursday, March 28, 2019.
