
FLORA, Ill. - The Flora police activity report this week kicks off with two local men arrested on Wayne County warrants for Larceny.
That'd be what occurred a week ago, Monday, February 4, when at 11:50 am Flora Police arrested Gerald E Baker, 57 of Flora for the outstanding Wayne County warrant for Larceny. Baker was unable to post bond and was transported to the Clay County Jail.
Then a bit later that same day, at 9:23 pm, Flora Police arrested James K Schwabe, 57 of Flora for his outstanding Wayne County warrant for Larceny. Schwabe was unable to post bond and was transported to the Clay County Jail.
On Wednesday, February 6 at 2:48 pm Flora Police investigated an accident in the 1100 block of Vincennes Ave involving a 2002 Dodge Pickup operated by Allen Goellner, 55 of Flora and an unoccupied 2012 Honda Utility owned by Diana McGee of Louisville. No citations were issued and no injuries reported.
On Thursday, February 7 at 1:22 pm Flora Police arrested Jerry Lee Powless, 41 of Flora on an outstanding Clay County warrant for contempt. Powless was able to post bond and was released with a court date.
On Thursday, February 7 at 3:18 pm Flora police arrested Kelly S Novak, 49 of Flora for criminal trespass after an incident at IGA. Novak was given a notice of arrest and released with a court date.
On Saturday, February 9 at 12:40 am Flora Police arrested Austin D Woods, 27 of Flora after a traffic stop at W 7 th and N State St. Woods was arrested for possession of Methamphetamine. Woods was unable to post bond and was transported to the Clay County Jail.
Then on Sunday, February 10 at 5:34 pm Flora Police again arrested James K Schwabe, 57 of Flora, this time for an outstanding Clay County warrant for Possession/Use of a Weapon/Firearm by Felon. Schwabe was unable to post bond and was transported to the Clay County Jail.
