WHITE CO., Ill. - White County State's Attorney Denton Aud has announced the sentencing of a woman from McLeansboro who got caught up in a Theft charge in White County this past May.
Aud said that Steele, 49, received three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on the Class 3 felony. This is to be followed by a year of parole.
Steele, over the past few years, has been all over the place, providing bond money for Saline County crims as in this piece; and she was just sentenced to a sliver of time in IDOC out of Hamilton on a Theft charge there.
Steele still owes $989.96 in fines and fees in White, none of which have been paid; and $1,012 in Hamilton...none of which have been paid.
