FRANKLIN CO., Ill. - Franklin County authorities have confirmed that they are investigating a shooting that occurred in the overnight hours last night (Tuesday, February 5 into Wednesday, Feb. 6).
Franklin County Sheriff's officials are investigating the shooting, which resulted in the hospitalization of the victim, and the arrest of the alleged shooter.
Authorities advise that the shooting took place at a rural location of West Frankfort, but are not specifying anything further, including identities, ages, or genders of those involved.
