SALINE CO., Ill. - It's been a hectic month in south counties, what with the election early in the month and all kinds of issues arising from that, but here's our outgoing Sheriff Ken Clore's report on departmental activity starting November 1 and leading right up until the holiday last week...and it's been busy in Saline County.
Nov. 1
Robert S. Rash, 25, of Equality, was arrested for Aggravated Battery.
He posted $1000 bond.
Jonathon D. Quertermous, 27, of Harrisburg, was arrested for Aggravated Battery of a Child.
He posted $1000 bond.
Nov. 2
Steven A. Lane, 28, of Henderson, Kentucky, was arrested for Failure to Appear.
He posted $1075 bond.
Nov. 4
Jeffrey A. Bailey, 35, of Simpson, was arrested for Deceptive Practice.
He posted $210 bond and credited with three days served in jail.
Nov. 5
Dillion R. Parker, 22, of McLeansboro, was arrested for Violation of Probation.
He posted $750 bond.
Nov. 6
Danny L. Vanhoorebeke, 35, of Harrisburg, was arrested for Theft and Unlawful Possession of Converted Vehicle.
He remains in the Saline County Detention Center.
Nov. 10
Amber D. Bethel, 40, of Harrisburg, was arrested for two counts of Criminal Damage to Property, Criminal Trespass to a Residence and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
She was given credit for nine days served in jail.
Ashley L. Mathews, 19, of Eldorado, was arrested for Driving on Suspended/Revoked License.
She was given a notice to appear.
Nov. 12
Derek R. Travelstead, 33, of Eldorado, was arrested for Failure to Appear.
He was released on his own recognizance.
Anthony P. Demarco, 38, of Marion, for Failure to Appear.
He posted $225 bond
Nov. 13
Christine L. Hutchison, 28, of Harrisburg, was arrested for Violation of Probation.
She posted $90 bond and credited for two days in jail.
Nov. 14
James A. Tennessen, 32, of Mt. Vernon, was arrested for two counts of Domestic Battery.
He posted $500 bond.
Demarea Luter-Pasquale, 23, of Harrisburg, was arrested for Failure to Appear.
He was released to Williamson County.
Nov. 15
Steven M. Jones, 23, of Herrin, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Converted Vehicle.
He posted $750 bond.
Miranda G. Murphy, 24, of Lincoln, was arrested for Failure to Appear.
She posted $825 bond.
Nov. 16
Matthew D. Rushing, 24, of Ozark, was arrested for Failure to Appear.
He posted $225 bond.
Nov. 17
Byron T. Hughes, 29, of Henderson, Kentucky, was arrested for Violation of Probation and Failure to Appear.
He posed $41 bond and credited for three days in jail.
Nov. 19
Jacob K. Remmers, 26, of Eldorado, was arrested for Violation of Probation.
He posted $450 bond.

Janet R. Baize, 24, of Harrisburg, was arrested for Failure to Appear.
She was released to Williamson County.
Michele G Baker, 51, of Eldorado, was arrested for Failure to Appear.
She posted $375 bond.
Jeremy S. Brown, 32, of Harrisburg, was arrested for Burglary.
He remains in the Saline County Detention Center.

Hershel L. English, 30, of Galatia, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
He remains in the Saline County Detention Center.
Michael W. Foster, 47, of Marion, was arrested for Violation of Sex Offender Registration.
He remains in the Saline County Detention Center.

Robert E. Hancock, 38, of Golconda, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Stolen Property, Theft by Deception, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He remains in the Saline County Detention Center.
