CARMI, Ill. - A Carmi man has been arrested on an allegation of Indecent Solicitation of a Child.
Carmi police report that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of Andrew P. Horne, 27, of Rice Street in Carmi, and executed last night, Tuesday, October 2 at about 6:41 p.m.
According to the charge filed, the incident over which Horne is being charged is alleged to have occurred on July 2, 2018. The charge is a Class 3 felony, and there’s no indication that any actual sexual contact occurred.
There have, however, been no further details issued about the situation.
The only other arrest to report out of Carmi on Tuesday came about in the morning, at about 9:25 a.m.
At that time, city police arrested Amber N. Gaudern, 36 at a residence on the 700 block of Burrell Street, after officers were dispatched there on a domestic call.
However, that wasn’t the end of it: Apparently a pat-down or something of the sort was conducted and afterwards, Gaudern found herself the recipient of a couple more charges: Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
She also found herself in county lockup, where she remained as of this evening.
