Lester Aaron Taylor
WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick would like to thank the public for their help in the location and arrest of Lester Aaron Taylor.
Taylor had two arrest warrants for Felony Theft cases. There were also charges pending from other theft cases.
One of the pending theft cases occurred yesterday morning (Monday, July 9), when Taylor allegedly stole a vehicle on Farner Street in the Village of Bush. Video from a neighbor’s residence played an important part in the investigation of this vehicle theft.
Taylor was located in Herrin by officers from Herrin Police Department and deputies from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office just after Midnight this morning.
Taylor attempted to flee on foot from officers and was apprehended by a Williamson County Canine. Additional charges concerning a number of related thefts are anticipated.
