SALINE CO.—Information is in about yesterday’s (04.03.13) alleged robbery at gunpoint, and short-lived getaway, which was thwarted by overwhelming police force coming out of Saline and Williamson counties.
Reportedly involved in the original incident—which was said to be a robbery at gunpoint of a man at a residence at Muddy Road and College Road—were three punk 19-year-olds who made their getaway in a Pontiac Grand Prix doing better than 100 mph on Highway 13 out of Harrisburg and to points west…until Williamson County officials, notified by Saline County after a 911 call was made by the alleged victim, were able to combine efforts to stop the fleeing suspects.
Arrested and charged in the case, as of today, were the appropriately-named Collin Crim, as well as Kashmere Barners and Paul Marshall Jr., whose upcoming court dates have not been set as of this afternoon. What possessed these three to allegedly carry out such a bold plan—and in broad daylight, at it was a quarter til 3 yesterday afternoon—remains unknown at this time, at least to the public, but we’re in the area this weekend and will be investigating the situation, so we can bring the whole thing to you in the upcoming issue, available online via e-Edition April 15, and on stands April 16-17 for those who enjoy the print version.
