ELIZABETHTOWN (Hardin Co.)—Reports of a male found deceased in a home in Elizabethtown last night have been confirmed by authorities.
Not wanting to release anything until all family had been notified, Hardin County authorities held information on the death of Roger Solomon until this afternoon. Disclosure first learned of the situation, however, late last night, being notified a couple of hours after his body was found at a rental house (ostensibly his) in E-town, this reportedly having happened at about 7:30-7:45 p.m.
Solomon’s age, as well as what is suspected to have been the cause of death, were unavailable as of this evening.
Regular readers will recall Solomon being peripherally involved in a case last summer, wherein his girlfriend, Norma Jean Cox, was found severely beaten outside the house in E-town where notorious crazygirl Martina Shore-Reeves resided. NOTHING was ever resolved about that beating; Cox (who is known locally as “Antifreeze” because of her reported abuse of that substance, which has lead to significant mental impairment in the woman) ultimately recovered, but no arrests were made.
It’s been reported that the house in which Solomon was found deceased belonged to Martina’s mom, Chrissy Reed, but that’s not been confirmed by authorities. Unofficial reports have it that Reed, or at least her family, own a handful of houses along a row there.
When we get more, we’ll bring it to you; keep checking back.
