FRONT PAGE
HARRISBURG—Results of audit raise concerns: The city of Harrisburg was audited last year, and there are some disturbing things found within it….stuff that former treasurer Charlie Will warned them about MONTHS ago. Is that why he is “former”? We make no suppositions, and leave it up to you to decide what this means for the city…including massive water loss of water coming from yet another ChickenBob enterprise, the Saline Valley Conservancy District.
RICHLAND CO.—Shooting in Richland Co.: Think you know about the shooting that took place basically just down the road from us because you read the little piece in the Olney paper about it? You don’t know ANYTHING about it until you read this article….and believe me when we tell you, there’s more to come, because this most assuredly is another case like Brandon Jenkins’.
RICHLAND CO.—Stalemate in cop war before filing of federal civil suit: Here’s another one that, like the Richland shooting, mainstream media is either overlooking or is spinning to have more to do with the civil suit Kelly Henby has filed against Rick White and ISP than what it actually is: a filing by a former ISP agent against a current one, asking the court to keep the current AWAY from the former in a civil stalking/no-contact order. The sad fact is, lamestream news outlets don’t want to lose their precious source of information, lil Ricky White, and they didn’t say a fucking WORD about this very important case, even after the filing of the civil suit…which they didn’t beat us on, btw; it’s in this article.
ALBION—Resignations stun council: And this is yet ANOTHER story that mainstream/lamestream media is spinning to support their advertisers, and is ignoring the bigger story—a fire department that thinks they’re answerable to no one, and the torment they’ve put a city alderwoman through after she “asked too many questions” about it. We’ve gotten HEAPS of praise for this article since it hit the stands…don’t miss this one, because we can just about guarantee you, this is going on in every little stinking burg in downstate…and maybe in the nation.
EDGAR CO.—Illegal loan activity over ambulance?: Our Heartland-area front-pager features Deputy Dawg Dee Burgin, originally of Richland County, and the wrongs he committed against Edgar while he was there…and how another dumbass in a position of public trust is now doing pretty much the same thing Dee-Dawg was doing.
BACK PAGE
JACKSON CO.—Coroner’s inquest slanted; ‘Undetermined’ cause of death: The horror of the Molly Young case in Carbondale, where ISP is in on making sure the public hears only the things about the young woman to make her look like a looneytoon…but who’s the real loon here? Upcoming coverage of the matter will show you beyond a shadow of a doubt…and make you wonder who’s running the show in Jackson County.
SALINE CO.—Arrests made in meth lab explosion: The long-awaited arrest of community flakes Roger Combs and Mary Beth Hutchison for the mobile meth lab explosion dating back to November. You need to see this one for the mugshots alone.
HARDIN CO.—Superintendent looking at ways of saving his school: There was a TON of misinformation circulating at the end of January about the status of certain teachers/staff at Hardin County Schools, as well as what was going to happen with the school itself. We cut through the crap and went straight to the superintendent, who gave the answers to everyone’s questions.
EDGAR CO.—Trial to begin Feb. 19: Ongoing coverage of the upcoming murder trial of Terry Payton…which we’re coming to understand might be a debacle, as the court authorities are trying to control who does and doesn’t get to be in the courtroom during jury selection. Watch the site closely, as we intend to cover this one in great detail.
SALINE CO.—Galatia tornado; 11 months later to the day: Coverage of the tornado that ripped a path right down the middle of Galatia, 11 months to the day after the terrible Harrisburg Leap-Day Tornado that killed 7 people.
HARRISBURG—THE TORNADO WITHOUT AN ANNIVERSARY DATE: There is no February 29 this year…but we have photos of devastation from last year, side-by-side with the same areas having been recovered or rebuilt, within the city of Harrisburg/Gaskins City.
EGYPT

HARRISBURG—FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT FOR OTHERS: A little bit of coverage of the fire that broke out January 22 in town, and the firefighters who battled it.
HARDIN CO.—Single vehicle Hardin Co. accident leaves two dead: As promised, lots more information on the fatal accident that took the lives of two Hardin residents, a father and daughter, the first weekend of February. RICHLAND CO.—The Earp/Trout connection spawns OP; pot charge leveled against young hanger-on: What’s an issue of Disclosure without an Urp story? And you won’t be disappointed in this one; it’s the long-awaited OP between Flav Urp and his latest babymomma breeder, as well as a pot bust of a distant connection to the repulsive clan.
LAWRENCE CO.—Flurry of protection orders filed in wake of methamphetamine arrest: Oh, if only prosecutors would look at the civil files once in awhile and see what the citizens are alleging…in this case, it might put a SERIOUS dent in the meth trade in Lawrence County…
WABASH CO.—Civil filing issued against federally-indicted Williams: Somehow everybody in media—including US—missed the OP filing a year ago against Kevin Williams. We’re usually a little more alert to this kind of thing, but mainstream media completely blows them off. Had they not, we’d have known nearly a year in advance what the Spond family was alleging against him…and the federal indictments wouldn’t have come as such a big surprise to everyone.
RICHLAND CO.—Dopers dealing for cash-strapped county rake in at least four felony busts: The “county-run dope operation” (read: utilization of narcs) is still going full bore.

LAWRENCE CO.—Schauf grandbabydaddy in trouble in civil, criminal courts, over bad checks, small claims: JP Stevenson has written allegedly bad checks all over the county. Chris Quick is finally coming down on his allegedly worthless ass. We might at this juncture note that we did NOT mention Connie Schauf-White in this, or any other article in at least the past two years…but because she’s been cyberstalking Ang, we’re now going to mention her every chance we get. Way to make the news, you dimbulb. And remember: if you sue, you have to prove we’re WRONG; we don’t have to prove we’re RIGHT. Truth is its own defense, and we have the screenshots and emails to prove you are indeed dim.
WABASH CO.—Two teen girls among women charged: All criminal cases we featured out of WabCo this month are of females. What the hell…
EDWARDS CO.—Attempt to flee police failed; young Albion man convicted years later: Former mayor’s son in the first report; son of a former employee in the second.

LAWRENCE CO.—Head-on collision on highway could have been a lot worse; woman charged with DUI: A lot of people were aware of the incident involving an allegedly-drunk Holly Gliddon on the night it happened (Feb. 2); all we weren’t aware of was her name. WABASH CO.—Church deacon convicted in six-day trial: All I can say to the whiners is: I hope you bitched to high heaven about the OTHER media outlets that identified Jay Griggs, convicted sex offender, as a “church deacon,” considering that at the time of his offense, he WAS.

EDGAR CO.—Late-breaking; State’s attorney punts case to Paris mayor: Edgar County board chairman Chris Patrick has cost the county MILLIONS in grants and other money because of a conflict of interest that could have been avoided. CUMBERLAND CO.—Defense in child porn case claims evidence gathered improperly: Little-known fact…cops can’t just “take” a cell phone from someone suspected of child porn or any other crime; a warrant for its seizure has to be obtained. That little tidbit, sadly, might sink this case.
COLES CO.—University police bag one in Douglas Hall: When asked if it’s your weed, well…read the article to find out the “right” thing to do.
CLARK CO.—Cops: “Cheeked” weed swallowed: Talk about ingesting cannabis…
COLES CO.—Teen granted shot at rehabilitation: Read this story; you’ll see that this kid might actually deserve a second chance. As for the other guy, well…
