HARRISBURG—Looks like the biker bar in Harrisburg, Poor Boys, will be closed down for a little while.
We’ve just been advised that Mayor Eric Gregg, who is also the liquor commissioner, has suspended the bar’s license for seven days as the outcome of an investigation into the brutal fight that went on New Year’s night between Roger Combs and Jason Teegarden, resulting in Teegarden’s hospitalization and subsequent surgery for stab wounds to his abdomen.
Gregg has advised that a copy of the order is on file at city hall, and the suspension begins Monday morning, January 14, at 9 a.m.
We have an enormous story coming up on the matter in the next print version, so if you haven’t renewed your subscription yet, you can still do so by clicking the PayPal link on the front page; or, if you’d rather, you can get an online membership and read the print version right here on your computer.
