UPDATE 4:30 p.m.: According to official sources ALL individuals stranded this afternoon on the Wabash River one and a half miles south of the Hutsonville dock have been rescued by the Hutsonville Fire Department Fire and Rescue Squad. Official sources say everybody is on shore safely and there are no reported injuries.
CRAWFORD CO.—Official sources are reporting that the Hutsonville Fire Department Fire and Rescue were dispatched at approximately 3:20 p.m. to a sight one and a half miles south of the boat dock in Hutsonville.
Sources indicate that early reports were that a boat had capsized but now believe there were simply motor problems and all five occupants of the boat are stranded near a sandbar.
United Life Ambulance is said to be on standby.
Authorities are believed to be in cell phone contact with the occupants at this time.
