The point is this: A school shooting, no matter how tragic, is NOT a reason to begin disarming the populace. Don’t let your grief or fear, being driven by mainstream media coverage of the latest school shooting, drive you into the mindset that those with an agenda want you to have. The agenda is total gun control. The agenda comes from a United Nations weapons ban. The United Nations does not control us as a country. However, our president would gladly welcome them to do so, as he has indicated time and again by assent toward UN plans.
The solution is NOT gun control. The solution is NOT armed police officers in our schools. The solution IS to allow teachers and administrators to carry concealed. That way, IF this really was just one or two crazed gunmen in Sandy Hook School, Newtown, Connecticut, they might have been able to shut down said gunmen almost immediately, or better, the gunmen may never have bothered to go there to shoot children, knowing they faced armed school personnel at every turn.
Don’t give in to the fear. Keep a cool head. Say a prayer for the bereft families, then begin work on what would prevent such a tragedy in your area. Petition your school board to allow trained personnel to carry concealed on the campus. Instead of making your schools a “gun-free zone,” make them a “safe zone,” where kids will stand a chance against someone carrying out crimes against them such as what occurred today. Abridging the Second Amendment doesn’t work: a person with a criminal mind will get a gun from another person with a criminal mind, will steal one, will do what he can to be criminal, so gun control laws don’t impact him at all. They only impact those who need protection FROM the criminal…and that impact is always adverse. Learn from this folks…and take action. Please.
