CRAWFORD CO.–As of about 9:30 p.m., we were alerted that Danny Stifle, the father of violent and most-of-the-time-inebriated (drunked-up) Crawford County crim Jody Stifle and Jody’s brother, Jason Stifle, were being sought following the beating of a man in the Flat Rock area.
Police say that the two are wanted for questioning in connection with the beating, and are believed to still be in Crawford County (not believed to have fled to Lawrence, which borders Flat Rock to the south).
Jody Stifle remains jailed pending a sentence in his beating case wherein Oblong girl Harlie Walters-Johnson was brutally beaten back in September.
Danny and Jason Stifle are of the same ilk as Jody and have in the past been in trouble for similar batteries. Tonight, police are saying that the two entered the residence of a Flat Rock woman, beat her boyfriend, then left.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the Stifle slugs is asked to contact local authorities via 911.
