SALINE CO, Ill.—The Saline County Courthouse in Harrisburg has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.
The threat came in at 7 a.m. this morning (Thursday, November 13, 2014) and prompted an evacuation. All employees are basically standing around outside the courthouse while the courthouse is being swept for any devices. A county board member has advised us that it’s the Illinois State Police examining the premises, not Secretary of State Police, as the latter often does come to assist when there’s a bomb threat. If SOSP shows, we’ll update; as well as if anything is found.
