EDWARDS CO.— An Edwards County trio faces drug charges.
According to Edwards County authorities, Amber M. Walkenbach, 29, Ashley D. Roosevelt, 29, both of 221 West Spring St., Grayville, and Eric Cowling, 32, of 852 County Road 500 North, Edwards County have been charged with one count each of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis alleging that on October 25, they possessed less than 2.5 grams of pot.
Additionally Walkenbach has been charged with one count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia identified as a pipe with intent to use the pipe to inhale marijuana into her body.
Roosevelt was also charged with one count of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine less than five grams and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance identified as clonazepam and ambien.
Cowling has a pending case in Edwards from August 2013 in which he was charged with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis less than 2.5 grams and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
