JACKSON CO., Ill.—Another person has been busted within the city of Carbondale for allegedly taking photos of people changing in fitting rooms.

Jonathan Quertermous, 23, of Harrisburg, was apparently over in Carbondale a week ago yesterday (Wednesday, September 24) at Kohl’s when he became the subject of a report to police that “someone was taking pictures of a customer in a dressing room.”

When authorities responded, they ultimately arrested Quertermous, and charged him with a single Class 4 felony count of Unauthorized Videotaping.

It’s unclear exactly how Quertermous came to be the suspect, but police were careful to note that he was NOT an employee of the store.

Quertermous joins the ever-growing list of people being charged with similar crimes, including another man in Carbondale who allegedly did the same at that town’s Goodwill location, Michael Norrington.

Quertermous was taken in on a $10,000 bail ($1,000 cash bond) and is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail, with a next court date set for October 23.
