WARRICK COUNTY SHERIFF BRETT KRUSE CONFIRMS THAT THE CAR AND THE BODY IN IT, FOUND IN A LAKE NEAR BOONVILLE, INDIANA, ARE THE VEHICLE AND THE REMAINS OF KRISTY KELLEY.

SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA—Multiple news outlets are reporting that the family of Kristy Kelley believe they’ve found the missing woman’s body.

The reports coming out of Boonville, Indiana, indicate that Kelley’s car has been found in a lake in that area…and that there’s a body inside.

Kelley’s father Todd Scales has told media that the family believes the body is that of his daughter Kristy, 27, who has been missing since Friday, August 15, when she was leaving the VFW in Boonville.

The vehicle has been lifted from the lake by a crane in order to preserve evidence.

There’s no further information to give, but when we learn more, we’ll bring it to you.
