MARION, Ill.—Marion Fire Department responded to a call at 706 Dogwood Lane at 7:05 this evening (Tuesday, September 16, 2014).
A second truck was called to assist.
A neighbor said the woman who lived there turned on her furnace and it exploded.
She said the woman lives alone and has no family in the area.
