WILLIAMSON CO., Ill.—A wreck yesterday on old Illinois Route 13 in Williamson County has put a local man in the hospital in fairly serious condition.
According to reports from family, Kenneth Rector Sr., was the one involved in the wreck Saturday, September 13.
Family members have advised that the sun was in Rector’s face while he was traveling old Route 13, which caused him to run off into a ravine alongside the old highway at the dead end of 13 at Amax Road.
Rector was air-evac’d out to Deaconess Trama center. He has broken thoracic and lumbar bones and a partially collapsed lung, according to reports, and he remains in cardiac ICU.
More as we get it; keep checking back.
