WABASH CO. (Mt. Carmel), Ill.–Authorities in Wabash County have advised that they’ve located the missing 15-year-old that was the subject of a search Sunday and Monday.
Alisa Stacy, 15, of Mt. Carmel, was located in Evansville, Indiana and returned home late Monday evening.
Alisa, who is the granddaughter of Mt. Carmel businessman Rod Rodriguez, was last seen by her mom on the evening of Saturday, August 9, at about 10:00 pm before going to bed. However, when her mom went to check on her the next morning, she found the teen gone.
Mt. Carmel Police were assisted in the investigation by Princeton Police, Gibson County Police and the Evansville Police Department. Press reports indicate that the investigation continues as police try to determine if adults assisted her in leaving her residence.
