MARION, Ill.—Another well-known area doctor has died.

Dr. Kevin Holmes, a Marion chiropractor, was found dead in his home in Marion this morning, Friday, August 8, 2014.
The discovery of the doctor’s body was reportedly made around noon today. There’s been no word on possible cause of death; Dr. Holmes was just short of his 56th birthday, which was coming up in another week and a half.
Reports coming in to Disclosure indicate that the chiropractor was well-thought-of in the area and had a busy practice just north of West DeYoung, up the hill from the Kroger store.
The doctor’s death makes the second doctor to pass away this week; earlier, reports came in of Dr. Patrick Peterson of Eldorado being found deceased in his home. While an autopsy was scheduled to have been performed that night (Tuesday, August 5), there has been NO word on any indicate of cause of death.
