The statistics show that there really aren’t that many plane crashes in this country, nor deaths from same. In the commercial flight field, the odds of being killed on a single airline flight are 1 in 29.4 million. That makes the number of fatalities per million flight hours only 12.25.
It’s a pretty safe mode of transportation, actually.
So when something goes wrong with a couple of aircraft owned by the same person, that’s going to pique the curiosity of those who examine matters like crashed planes…and what, subsequently, can be the cause of such a thing.

EDGAR CO.— There has been a tragic development in the terrorism investigation into the suspicious plane crash that killed a Paris man.
Rusty Bogue, operator of RSB Aviation, was killed when his plane crashed August 27, 2013 shortly after takeoff from the Edgar County Airport, enroute to Terre Haute, Ind.
Bogue’s crash took place amidst threats leveled by individuals on the Airport Advisory Board, many of whom were later found to have personal agendas.
On November 17, 2013, two aircraft owned by RSB were burned at the airport and authorities found undetonated incendiary devices still sitting on one of the wings.
Both aircraft were totally destroyed.
Authorities also found graffiti sprayed on the burned-out hulls of the planes.
“F*ck Rob” and “This is our airport” had been spray-painted in dayglo orange on the sides (Rob being Robert Bogue, Rusty’s father, who continues to push for answers in his son’s death).
A second Bogue-owned plane crashes
RSB owned five planes total: the one Rusty was flying when it crashed shortly after takeoff, the two that were burned at the airport and two others.
One of those two others was sold to an individual out west.
