LAWRENCEVILLE–Borowiak’s IGA in Lawrenceville experienced a robbery Thursday night, and police are seeking the suspect.
The whole thing was reported to have been caught on videotape, and a photo of the suspect is being circulated; authorities are asking folks to assist by sharing the photo/article, as there was a fairly clear shot of the white male obtained from surveillance cameras in the grocery store.
The incident, according to Lawrenceville Police Chief Jim White, occurred around 6:30 p.m. Thursday night, June 5, 2014, when a man posing as pest control/exterminator for the business is alleged to have stolen $1,400 from the store.
He may have been in the company of another person; that person’s photo is not available at this time, however.
Again, if you know this man, or are able to assist with information in any way, you may call Lawrenceville police, 618-943-6411, or your local authorities. And share…if you don’t know this guy, your friends/family might!
