RICHLAND CO.—Flavius Earp is living up to the reputation his family has set for themselves.

The information ONLY just this morning (03.27.12) came up on judici (prior to about 9:30 there was NOTHING to indicate to the public that there was even a case). We may not be able to find out where or if he was being held or simply bonded upon being booked. But one thing we know for certain: Richland County case number 2012CF28 is a felony Intimidation of a Witness or Family Member of a Witness case, filed against Flav Earp in recent days, and he was in Richland County circuit court yesterday on an operating uninsured/driving on suspended/revoked license set of tickets (he’s alleged to drive like that repeatedly; why no one ever does anything to him over it is unknown, when if it were any of the rest of us, we’d be in DOC by now) and was served with the felony warrant and taken from the courtroom.
We had to do a little digging, but here’s what we found out: back on February 22 of this year, Flav, 25 of Olney, while out partying (also a common occurrence), got into a screaming fit directed toward Jason Collins, owner of Friday Night Lights, the bar that sits outside the Super 8 Motel in Olney. Regular readers will remember that it was in the Super 8 parking lot, in the early hours of November 20, 2011 when normal young fathers would be home with their children, that Scott Earp, 24 (a young father, but hardly ‘normal’), was shot and killed, this after the Earps and a hanger-on, Chris Arteberry, attacked the alleged shooter, Brandon Jenkins, when he went to turn off the car alarm in his truck.) During Flavo’s Feb. 22 hissy, he blamed Collins for his brother Scott’s death and was told to leave. Flav allegedly refused to do so and, in typical Earp form, threatened Collins….who is a witness for the defense.
Not like Jenkins needed any assistance in his case, but Flav just did it. His attorney John O’Gara of Belleville has been busy collecting the records of the Urps and their hangers-on (Arteberry, Casey King, Aaron Dulaney, etc) from not only Richland but from every county where the punks have ever been in trouble. This is under the premise that they have perpetrated the very actions they took on the night of Scott Earp’s death in a number of circumstances, and that it was commonplace for them to carry out their thuggery—and get away with it—and just because Jenkins was a victim who happened to be armed, that shouldn’t be held against him….and called “murder,” which is what Jenkins, a Marine from Houston, Texas, is being charged with. So Flavoflav just did Jenkins a big, big favor.
Incidentally, this isn’t the first time Flav has been alleged to have threatened witnesses in a case against him. In August 2008, both he and his brother tracked down and threatened a young member of the Seessengood family after both Urps had been charged with Mob Action in the beating of Ben Greenwood earlier in the year (an older Seessengood had been a witness to the beating). This seemed to be the MO of the group at that time, since that was pre-steroid/bodybuilding/MMA BS and they were petite little weiner kids—the Urps found someone “their own size” to harass and intimidate in order to threaten witnesses against them. But, in typical fashion, all charges against them were dismissed—the Mob Action, the Intimidation—EVERYTHING. No explanation, at least to the inquiring public. There was just a “deal” struck….and the petite boyz were let go. Just like they were out of their multiple burglary charges stemming from two years earlier. Just like they haven’t been charged with ANY of the beatings they’ve inflicted over the past three years, since that time. Charges which MAY have saved Scott Earp’s life if prosecutor David Hyde had done something about these punks earlier on.
Jenkins is still on for a jury trial set to begin April 24. News about the matter has slowed to a crawl about it. So we’re here to remind you to sign and circulate the petition to raise awareness for Jenkins’ plight, and if you can and care to, help his family, who AREN’T welfare recipients unlike some people involved in this scenario. Yes, the Urps are predictable and we predicted that they would self-destruct prior to the trial. But Jenkins needs more than self-destroyed thugs….he needs support, and you can give it to him…along with the rest of us, who will stand to lose in the end, as this is not just a case about a violent thug family imposing their brand of terror on the locals, but it’s a case about Second Amendment rights and whether we can defend ourselves with a weapon if we’re threatened with such terrorism…so let’s rally right now.
