HARRISBURG—We’re hearing that Harrisburg Mayor Eric Gregg has been taken to Deaconess for emergency surgery today.
The surgery has been reported to have been on his colon; a portion of it, we’ve heard, has had to be removed.
We just did a sit-down interview with Mayor Gregg a few days after the tornado and he appeared weary and drawn-out, but had no complaints. Such surgery is significant and isn’t done on an emergency basis very often, so we’re anxious to hear what transpired that necessitated it.
