EDWARDS CO., Ill.—An Albion man is facing significant charges in court in Edwards County.
Bradley Haggard, 52, was charged April 24 with four counts following an April 22 incident wherein it’s been alleged that he had in his possession a set of metal knuckles, as well as items of drug paraphernalia and controlled substances.
Haggard has been charged with a count of Unlawful Use of Weapons, a Class 3 felony, for alleged possession of the metal knuckles; Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing MDPV [bath salts]), a Class 4 felony; Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a bong), a Class A misdemeanor; and Unlawful Possession of Hypodermic Syringe or Needle, another Class A misdemeanor, this according to Edwards County State’s Attorney Mike Valentine.
Haggard is set for a preliminary hearing on the matter May 9.
