WABASH CO.—Contrary to published reports yesterday and earlier this morning, former Mt. Carmel city treasurer Ericka Whittler has been arrested and booked in Wabash County—this afternoon.

We were notified by Wabash County sheriff Joe Keeling at about a quarter after three this afternoon that this had gone down and the warrant for the gal had been served. So now we’ll see how this goes with Cassandra Goldman at the prosecutorial helm….and whether she’ll bring in a special prosecutor to proceed.
