GUILTY PLEA ENTERED IN RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

EDWARDS CO., Ill.—Edwards County State’s Attorney Mike Valentine has announced sentencing for an Albion teen convicted of Residential Burglary.

Robert Pritchard, 18, was sentenced yesterday to six years DOC after a guilty plea to a Class 1 felony Residential Burglary count dating back to December 26, 2013 when Pritchard knowingly and without authority, entered into the dwelling place of Brandon and Sierra Merril, located at 746 County Road 450 North, Albion, with the intent to commit theft. There’s been no word on the status of a co-defendant in Pritchard’s case, Christopher Price, 17.

Costs and fees in the case have also been ordered paid by Pritchard, in the amount of $607.
