HERRIN— Authorities are currently trying to locate a missing 9-year-old boy last seen in the area of Grove Place in Herrin at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1.
Authorities say that David J. Melvin is described as a white male, 4’6”, approximately 82 lbs., having brown hair and blue eyes.
David Melvin was last seen wearing a black Herrin Tiger hoodie, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
