CARBONDALE, Ill.—Reports out of Carbondale are indicating that there has been a shooting incident occurring at about 2:45 in the area of Jackson and Washington streets.
Specifically, it’s been indicated that the shooting is going on around the Tres Hombres restaurant.
Police are describing the alleged perps as five black males, two of them sporting dreadlocks, one of them with a handgun (CORRECTED).
Police aren’t telling area residents what exactly is happening, but they have been traveling back and forth from the area, in a manner suggesting that they’re trying to patrol the area in an effort to keep the situation contained.
