SALINE CO.—County residents yesterday and last night (12.26.11) were treated to some wild scenarios that seemed to indicate that some folks weren’t very happy with what Sants brought them for Christmas.
According to listeners in Scannerland, Saline County was particularly busy between Harrisburg and Carrier Mills, with some incidents that seemed to cross over between the two locations.
The first reports came in regarding alleged fights being reported at the 800 block of West Longley Street in Harrisburg. Shortly after this report came a few DUIs across the scanner waves.
However, the big report was yet to come during the late night hours, when alleged shots fired at West Longley Street in Harrisburg, reportedly the same location as the earlier “10-10s” (fights). Immediately following this were county and Harrisburg Police Department officers looking for a white Ford Taurus that may have been heading for Carrier Mills. One name came up on the scanner in association with this car and particular incident: Bobby Evans. However, it’s not clear whether this was in reference to a suspect or a victim.
We haven’t learned much more about these reports yet, as the news just came in to us about an hour ago, but we’re working on it, and as soon as we find out what the deal was, we’ll bring it to you here at the site….keep checking back. As well, do you know about the incidents? Feel free to post here if you do.
