LAWRENCEVILLE–Lawrenceville officer Ryan Curtis’ son’s truck was hit head-on last night (December 9) a little after 8 p.m. in a hit-and-run incident.
The vehicle was parked on the side of the road outside of Ryan Curtis’ house at 1603 12th Street, in Lawrenceville.
Neither the Curtis’ nor the police know at this time who hit the vehicle.
Lawrenceville Chief of Police Jim White said the roads were nothing but a sheet of ice last night when the incident occurred.
Chief White also said there have been a couple of similar incidents occur.
“Not as bad,” he said. “But where someone has accidentally dinged someone else’s car because of the icy road conditions.”
