EDGAR CO., Ill.—From our friends the Edgar County Watchdogs:
PARIS, IL. (ECWd) - After a lengthy executive session at the Airport Committee meeting on Friday, it was evident upon Mr. Wells’ departure from that meeting that things were not looking good for him.
According to the Agenda for Wednesday’s County Board Meeting, the Edgar County Airport Manager, Jimmy Wells, has tendered his resignation as Airport Manager effective December 11, 2013. The agenda item is to accept his resignation.
Now the question is how many of the board members will vote to accept the resignation?

Regular readers will recall that Wells has been the manager at the Edgar County Airport for quite some time, and was acting in such a capacity when last month’s terrorist attack on airplanes belonging to Bryan Phillips of Terre Haute occurred.
There may be more coming up on this; if so, be sure to check it out with the release of the December ’13/January ’14 issue, on stands December 18 in Edgar and Coles counties, or available right here at the comfort of your computer screen with an online subscription to the e-Edition!
