**Update**
The fire that broke out at 321 South Granger Street tonight at around 11:00PM has now been extinguished.
When our correspondent arrived on the scene, firetrucks were already present and firefighters were still arriving. The firemen entered the dark home using flashlights, looking to be sure that the house was empty. At that point, the fire was still smoldering in the attic of the structure and did not appear to have reached into the rooms below.
After the home had been cleared, firefighters worked to extinguish the growing flames. At the height of the fire, flames were shooting out of a vent in the attic on the back of the house.
The flames where quickly quelled, and firefighters were able to go onto the roof to cut a vent hole and finish extinguishing hot spots in the attic.
Disclosure has not been able to get any official statement on the incident at this point, as the scene was still being investigated at the time that our correspondent left the scene. We will bring any information that we are able to obtain to our readers as soon as possible.
