CRAWFORD CO., Ill.—Traffic was at a standstill on the outer edge of South Range Street south of Oblong at about 8:15 p.m. tonight (Saturday, November 30, 2013) after a rollover accident on that stretch of blacktop.
The vehicle was a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser, from what we can tell.
An ambulance was on-scene still at 8:15, but it appeared there wasn’t anyone in it; whether anyone was transported from the scene earlier or not by another rig remains unknown. The ambulance left at about 8:25.
A wrecker was positioned on the road in such a way that traffic wasn’t moving until the PT was pulled out of the field where it landed on its top, about 10 yards off the road way to the east.
It was dark and there were no other lights on the vehicle; this was the best we could do with a pic.
