MT. CARMEL – On Friday night, November 22nd, Mt. Carmel City Police responded to a disturbance at Family Dollar on Walnut Street. Upon their arrival, a store employee advised police officers that a male subject was walking through the store with his genitalia exposed.
The employee advised that the suspect had just left the store in a White Dodge Ram. Mt. Carmel Police Officers soon located the vehicle driving on the roadway with no headlights. Mt. Carmel Police Officers initiated a vehicle st0p and identified the driver as Donald V. Stevens, age 40, of Lawrenceville.
According to police reports, Stevens admitted to knowingly exposing himself, but he didn’t have a reason to explain why he had done it. Stevens was arrested for disorderly conduct.
A search of Stevens was conducted following his arrest, and he was found to be in possession of a sexual toy that Stevens advised he uses for “sexual gratification.”
