FBI NOW INVOLVED IN EDGAR COUNTY AIRPORT FIRE, BOMBING

EDGAR CO., Ill.—Less than 48 hours after one explosive device detonated and fire consumed two airplanes at the Edgar County Airport outside of Paris, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has gotten involved.

The investigation into the terroristic act has prompted response thus far by local and state agencies, and now, the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the FBI on the federal level.

Two FBI agents, it’s been officially reported to Disclosure, have been assigned to the case, these two coming out of Champaign.

The feds are nearly always involved when an incident of violence of any sort is perpetrated against aviation craft, as operation of those is regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration, and the FBI is the investigative arm of this entity.

The investigation into the fire and explosions, obviously directed at RSB Aviation/the Bogue family, is ratcheting up several notches past what the perpetrators apparently thought it would, given that the thugs in charge of things in Edgar County for decades have been getting away with such crimes for equally as long.

As well, the investigation is much more advanced than what we’re able to tell here; we’re hoping developments come quickly, as we are on deadline and producing the November 27 paper, and would like to tell more, in the print version, of what is known about this particular incident.

Keep watching, and make sure your subscription to the print version or online membership to the e-Edition is up-to-date so you won’t miss a thing going on in corrupt downstate Illinois.
