CRAWFORD – Robinson Correctional Center Warden Randy Grounds has only reported a handful of changes being made within the confines of the Crawford County prison since Jared Carter “walked-away” from the facility over the Labor Day Weekend.
DOC Communication’s Director, not to mention a big Disclosure fan, Tom Shaer, has reported that there is currently one employee going through disciplinary procedures as a result of Carter’s holiday-weekend disappearing act.
Grounds recently reported that the prison has made some changes to the clothing that inmates on work-detail outside of prison walls will be wearing. Clothing for inmates who have earned the privilege to take the work-detail will be outfitted in different colors than the general population, and their clothing will be emblazoned with information on the inmate, as well as a DOC phone number.
Grounds also reported that prison guards in supervisory positions over inmates on outside work-detail will be required to radio in the status of the convict every half-hour.
Grounds said that the facility is only just recently going through the process of re-establishing the outside work program which was presumably halted after Carter’s escape.
At the moment, only two inmates have qualified for the work detail at Robinson Correctional Center.
