JASPER CO.—Reports of an ATV accident in Jasper County had many worried last night that there were some serious injuries and even a death involved, but fortunately, that wasn’t the case.
Sources in Jasper indicate that shortly after 10:30 pm.. Saturday, September 7, 2013, Jasper County Sheriff’s Department and the Jasper County Ambulance Service responded to reports of a two-vehicle ATV accident.
Deputies met subjects at Illinois Route 130 and the Ste. Marie Road for directions to the accident, which occurred at 500N and 1775E.
Jasper County Ambulance Service transported two subjects to Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney. One subject was transferred to Deaconess Hospital, Evansville.
The Illinois State Police continues to investigate this accident. No identities are being released at this time.
