CLARK CO.—Clark County authorities have formally charged Henry Bice after an incident reported yesterday morning.
Readers will recall that Bice was apprehended at the Casey Municipal Airport yesterday morning after an alleged stabbing incident.
This morning we learned that Bice has been charged with a single count of Attempted Murder (a Class X felony) and Aggravated Battery/Use of a Deadly Weapon in the stabbing, which occurred at the victim’s house in Casey. Authorities believe that Bice had been stalking the woman and waited for her outside her house as she was going to work.
Bice made a first appearance yesterday, September 4, on the charges, and is in custody at Clark County.
It’s our understanding that the woman who sustained stab wounds was undergoing surgery yesterday morning, and is said to be recovering. She has not been identified by public officials.
Bice, as reported yesterday, has a long history of criminal activity in Crawford County to the south of Clark.
