JACKSON CO.—Scanner listeners in Jackson County have reported a rollover accident on Boskydell Road west of Giant City Road, located south of Carbondale.
Officials are reporting two in the vehicle were dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale; one, being ejected, is reported injured, with a fourth person, the driver, so far not reporting any injury.
CORRECTION from earlier: the driver is NOT one of the deceased; the driver is a 17-year-old who swerved to avoid a deer, and he reportedly suffered numerous, non-life-threatening injuries.
