HARDIN CO.—Jessica Cullum, Hardin County Coroner, has released the name of the man who was found deceased in a tent yesterday afternoon at The Gathering of the Juggalos.
Cullum identified 24-year-old Cory Collins, most recently of Harrisburg, as the man who was found at about 3 p.m. Friday afternoon, August 9, 2013, at the event on the ground of the Hog Rock Campground, north of Cave-in-Rock.
Collins has a previous address of Ridgway in Gallatin County, but was most recently residing with his mother in Harrisburg.
Cullum said there is no official determination of cause of death at this time.
As a side note, multiple sources on the grounds at The Gathering report that the party went on even after Collins’ body was discovered, the drug bridge was moved, and Collins death investigation was begun.
They also report that many jokes were being made about “poking the dead guy with a stick.”
At least the “Juggalo family” was able to move on after the death of one of their own, if indeed he was…bottom line is, he was out there, and identifying himself with the subculture, which sometimes takes horrorcore a little too far.
